Why are we called Brain Box Development and not Brain Box design? What's the difference?

The difference between design and development:

Design is the aesthetic, the actual look and feel of a website. The identity and branding. Or the work that is done on what is commonly referred to as the front end or the part of a site the web visitor sees.

Development is the work that is done on the back end of the site. This is the programming and logic that drives things such as content management systems, shopping carts, and other site interactivity. When you hear the term dynamic web site, this refers to the work done by a web developer.

Ok, so why not "Brain Box Design and Development"? We had to stop somewhere. We could have called ourselves Brain Box Design, Development, Hosting, and Purveyors of All Things Internet, but that would be a little ridiculous. Our friends just call us Brain Box and we're happy with that. We decided on "Development" to highlight an area we feel we are stronger in than many of the other companies in the industry.

We believe that form and functionality do not have to exist in separate spaces. They are able to thrive together cohesively. We bring the left-brained logic and the right-brained creativity together for the "whole-brained solution".
